Air Cadets from across Tayside and Fife gathered in Broughty Ferry yesterday for their first collective church service in many years.
Around 150 cadets, volunteers and adult Air Training Corps (ATC) staff attended thes service at St Luke's & Queen Street Church.
The gathering was suggested by St Luke's minister, the Rev Graham Taylor, who recently took over as chaplain of the ATC's Dundee and Central Scotland Wing.
Among the guests at the service were Regional Commandant Morag Urquart and John Letford, who was there in his role as Lord Lieutenant of Dundee.
Mr Taylor said the service was lively and youth-friendly affair that was designed to help "renew friendships" and celebrate the Corps' many achievements.
